Pastor Scott Ness came to Prince of Peace in 2019. He lives intentionally as a disciple of Jesus; fails often; and works to not take himself too seriously. He is a strategic thinker who loves to take large and deep theological truths and make them practical and accessible for people. He met his wife, Deanna, at Wittenberg University and they have been living an adventure together ever since. With their 6 kids, adventure is never too far away. Parenting these kids with Deanna is his greatest joy, stress, challenge, and window into God’s love.
Pastor Knox is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain. He serves our congregation by inspiring MEN to be "REEL MEN" and serving alongside Pastor Kollmeyer as his "Assistant." He brings a "Heart for The Lord" to everything he does here at Prince of Peace. Expect a warm smile and a kind greeting if he comes to see you in the hospital -- and ALWAYS a PRAYER asking God to "meet the deepest needs of your heart."
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA and moved to Fayetteville GA in 1988. I have not lost my Pittsburghese accent and I love it. (I miss the SNOW!) I worked for 46 years doing office work in Pittsburgh PA and Peachtree City GA. When I retired I volunteered to help in the church office one day a week, but that did not last long, I became the volunteer church secretary within 3 months and I thank God for selecting me for this job. I LOVE CHURCH WORK….! and animals, music, dance, puzzles and computer games.
"Ms. Paula" always has a smile and an encouragement for all youth. She has many years of experience with Youth Ministry, and we are proud of her and thankful to The Lord for her ministry to the Youth of our church and our community. She leads youth toward The Lord all year long, and coordinates and leads College and High School Mission Trips each summer. Youth, come and be a part of this important ministry. You will be SO GLAD you did!"
"Mrs. McAteer" also has a smile and encouragement for ALL CHILDREN! She has a life-long history of leading children to The Lord Jesus Christ. Sunday School on Sunday mornings is A BLAST! Your children will be SO BLESSED to come to Sunday School here at Prince of Peace! NOW is a GREAT TIME to get started with your children into Sunday School EVERY Sunday! (From NOW until the end of the school year) Your children will learn -- AND HAVE FUN! EVERY SUNDAY your children will get an in-depth Bible Story, a snack (YUM! Kids say, "THIS is ONE of the BEST PARTS of Sunday School!" and that's O.K.!), do a craft related to the lesson (THAT'S FUN!), and play a fun game also related to the Bible lesson ("What's not TO LIKE about that?!).
Obviously, this is Pastor Kollmeyer's wife, who leads BOTH our school-year ministry of "KMC" AND our summer ministry of VBS! She TOO has a life-time history of leading children to our Lord Jesus Christ. She has both a heart for The Lord -- AND a LOVING HEART FOR CHILDREN! Kids Music Company is both FUN AND REWARDING! When YOUR CHILD is on this stage doing a musical play about God and His Power and Glory, they will be SO INSPIRED IN FAITH -- and YOU will be "SO PROUD!" It's GREAT! Make SURE YOUR CHILD is "IN" this coming year!
Rob is BOTH an outstanding musician AND a deep spiritual worshiper of our ONE TRUE GOD -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! We are blessed -- and YOU will be too -- to have him lead us in worship with the up-beat and spirited beauty of Contemporary Christian Music!
"Dr. Pat" is also "so new" to us that we haven't yet "paused to take her picture for our website." But what we have done is to take her GIFTED AND TALENTED SKILLS on the organ and COMBINED them with our marvelous NEW ALLEN DIGITAL ORGAN, which sounds EXACTLY like a Pipe Organ! If YOU are a "fan" of TRADITIONAL WORSHIP and CLASSICAL HYMNS and LITURGICAL WORSHIP, YOU will be overwhelmingly blessed by Dr. Pat and this worship experience.
O.K. Here's the truth -- Jeannie and Angie have been our WONDERFUL, METICULOUS CUSTODIANS FOR YEARS! But we STILL don't have a picture of them. Probably because they are ALWAYS WORKING to make our buildings look clean and inviting FOR YOU! From the altar areas to the bathrooms -- they keep this place SPOTLESS! We HONOR THEM! AND we THANK THEM! AND we Thank GOD for them! They represent the HUNDREDS of "behind the scenes" DISCIPLES God has given us here at Prince of Peace!
